The more web-pages your web-site consists of, the more visitors it'll have. In the following records, each 'hit' here requires a visitor to stay for at least an hour on that page, before a 2nd 'hit' is recorded as a returned visitor. Web-site counters that just display a number are very easy to artifically manipulate. This statistics database tracks data in a completely accurate, scientific, and usable manner.

Accurate tracking of visitors by noting their time-zones, gives a good indication of how visitors are spread across the world. Being a South African web-site, the main cluster are local (GMT +2).
